[av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=”]
My hand-colored landscapes are based in photographic history — consider such American greats as Carleton Watkins and Fred Kiser, who documented the American West by combining the precision of black and white photography with the warmth of hand coloring.

Explicitly romantic, my own work also grows out of a sense of loss we all experience in this era of climate change and vanishing habitat. Many of the landscapes I photograph don’t quite exist, except in my imagination.
